Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED)

  Presently Indian youth face three challenges – One is lack of perfect domain knowledge and secondly poor in soft skills to get placed at the corporate world and the third is the lack of entrepreneurial skills to start own business/ enterprise (or not aware of their own entrepreneurial strength) and lack of knowledge on Business Opportunities open to them at their door step/in front of their eyes. 

Causes for lack of entrepreneur skills in youth: 

• No social security measure for venturing youth 

• Education system in India 

• Fear of failure/Fear of criticism 

• Not aware the emerging new Business opportunities and support system

• Not aware of his/her own Entrepreneurial, Managerial / Leadership ability/Skills and own personality

• Not aware that even job seekers should be creative and problem solvers

• Missing leadership quality 

What CED of ELDF will do:

In order to support our youth, CED will undertake training programmes on Self Employment and Entrepreneurship Development across country/global.

Through its own intervention method ELDF, will train and handhold to set up new enterprises.

• ELDF through its network of Entrepreneurs, Experts, Professionals, Trainers and NGOs will see that EDP trained participants set up their own enterprise.

• ELDF will make Angel funding through its network, for selective cases.

• ELDF will help Management Institutes/Engineering Colleges to set up their own Entrepreneurship Development Cell.

• ELDF will train UG/PG students of all streams in Entrepreneurship Career

• How to prepare a Business Plan and Bankable Project Report?

• What is Business Management and how to manage a MSME Unit?

• Digital Marketing and how it can help a MSME?

B. Institutional/Government Support to Entrepreneurs:

• Whom to Approach for What Support?-

• Policies, Programmes and Institutional support Mechanism for Entrepreneurs

• Schemes/Programmes of SIDBI, NABARD, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for MSMEs

• How Export Promotion Councils support Entrepreneurs

C. Special Programmes for Graduates/Post Graduates/Engineering  graduates:

• ELDF Helps engineering colleges in establishing their own Entrepreneurship Development Cell(EDC)

• Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes at Business Schools/Engineering  Colleges

• Professional /Corporate Communication Skills- through  Communication Lab
